ATEMAJAC

Located in the western Sierra Madre in Mexico, where access to the site is not so easy, local materials are used, such as flagstone, pine wood and adobe which is made on site in a traditional way, with the same mud obtained from the excavations of the foundations and also the excavation of a pond to collect rainwater.

An important part of the brief for this project is to be executed in 3 stages:

1- Master bedroom and shower room.
This stage covers the basic need for an overnight stay and toilet facilities.
2: Public area.
Integrated by a kitchen, a dining room and a living room that can accommodate guests if necessary.
3: Guest bedrooms and terrace
The last stage of the project adds 2 guest bedrooms and a shared shower room.

These stages are connected through two corridors that connect each area and create an interior courtyard.
